Based on a wide range of qualifications and many years of experience, I have developed a completely new procedure for positively changing the thought system using the Effmert® method. I use a combination of various forms of therapy that are specifically tailored to the personal situation of my patients.
1. Hypnotherapy
Hypnosis works and helps – scientifically proven
There are habits that cannot be eliminated through reason. Just think of smoking: why is it so difficult to stop smoking when everything is so clear to reason: just stop!
Simple? When reason doesn't help, we get to the bottom of your problem using hypnoanalysis, i.e. using the latest findings in neuroscience. We first decode unconscious negative connections in a trance and then resolve them permanently using hypnosis.
What is hypnotherapy used for?
In my practice, I use hypnosis successfully and in a variety of ways to treat psychological and psychosomatic complaints, including:

2. Neuro-linguistic programming (NLP)

This is how the treatment works
Neuro-linguistic programming (NLP) is a method that deals with the connection between neurological processes, language and our behavior. Through targeted techniques and strategies, NLP enables us to improve communication, break negative behavioral patterns, achieve personal goals and advance personal development.
NLP is used in various areas, such as coaching, therapy, sales, management, personal development and sports.
It can help to improve self-perception, optimize interpersonal communication, resolve personal blockages and achieve individual goals more effectively. By applying NLP techniques, a deeper understanding of one's own behavior and the behavior of others can be developed in order to bring about positive changes in various areas of life. As an NLP practitioner, master and coach, elements of NLP flow into my coaching and treatment settings.
3. EMDR
Helps with trauma, releases blockages and fears
EMDR steht für „Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing“. Darunter verstehen wir die „Desensibilisierung und Verarbeitung durch Augenbewegung“. EMDR stimuliert beide Gehirnhälften, auch bilaterale Hemisphärenstimulation genannt, und hat ihren Ursprung in der Traumatherapie. Heute wissen wir, dass EMDR nachhaltig von psychischen Belastungen, Ängsten und Blockaden befreit.
Who developed EMDR?
Towards the end of the 1980s, psychologist Dr. Francine Shapiro had this simple but brilliant idea: while walking in the park, she moved her eyes back and forth. She experienced how her fears and depressive thoughts about her cancer diminished. She decided to test and investigate this method further. In 1991, specialist Arne Hoffmann introduced EMDR to Germany for the first time. He was the first EMDR instructor certified by Shapiro at the EMDR Institute. Since then, the method has been a valuable tool for treating post-traumatic stress disorder and has been scientifically recognized since 2006. Its effectiveness has been proven by numerous studies.
4. EFT Klopftechnik
Helps with anxiety, depression, stress and pain
EFT stands for "Emotional Freedom Techniques". It is a tapping acupressure that can relieve physical and emotional problems. This method is based on the meridian system of traditional Chinese medicine (TCM). The American Gary Craig developed it in its current form in the 1990s. He combined elements of acupressure with insights from psychology to create a method for treating emotional problems.
The effectiveness of the EFT tapping technique has been proven by studies. In 2012, the American Psychological Association (APA) recognized it as an evidence-based method.
So läuft die Behandlung ab
It begins with a detailed conversation in a protected setting. We carefully explore stressful memories and feelings. I use various techniques to stimulate the flow of energy in the body and support the natural healing process. I combine the EFT tapping technique with hypnotherapy and also use it in coaching, NLP, constellation work and together with EMDR*.
Using the EFT method, I will show you how to tap specific parts of your body. We will combine this with guiding principles that describe your individual problem. By tapping 12 meridian points with your index and middle fingers, you can relax your nervous and energy system. And thus release any possible blockages.

5. Ego State Therapy
The Basics of Ego State Therapy: Recognizing, Understanding and Integrating Different Personality Parts
Ego state therapy is a form of psychotherapy based on the idea that our personality is made up of different ego states. These ego states represent different parts of our self and can act, feel and think independently of each other. In therapy, these ego states are identified, brought into contact with each other and integrated to promote inner balance and well-being. The goal is to resolve negative behavioral patterns or unconscious conflicts in order to facilitate profound change in the patient's life.
What is Ego State Therapy?
Ego state therapy is a psychotherapeutic approach that assumes that our personality consists of many different "ego states". The name is derived from the English word "ego states". Each of these personality parts has its own feelings, beliefs and behaviors. In a healthy psyche they work together harmoniously. In therapy you learn to value these inner parts and to reconcile them with one another. The core of my work as a therapist is to introduce new, corrective experiences that can gradually be reintegrated.

7. Homeopathy

What is homeopathy?
Homeopathy is an independent form of therapy based on the principle of “like cures like”. In contrast to conventional treatment methods, it focuses on gentle and individual healing:
Homeopathic medicines are made from natural substances.
They are prepared in such a way that they trigger symptoms in healthy people that are similar to those of the patient’s illness.
This allows them to activate the body’s self-healing powers.
8. Family board:
Coaching for a better coexistence
How the “Family Constellation on the Table” helps
The family board is a gentle but effective method to bring more clarity to your family life. The family should be viewed as a system. The same applies to the extended environment outside the family, consisting of employees in a department or an entire organization, to name just a few examples. With this systemic method, I offer you a holistic approach to better understand and work on relationship patterns and dynamics within your family and your environment.
How does it work?
The family board is a form of systemic family constellation. I guide you to represent your family members or other people in your environment using symbols on the board. Through the spatial arrangement and working with the symbols, we can make unconscious patterns, loyalties and dynamics visible and tangible. This externalization creates a certain distance and allows you to look at your family situation from a new perspective. In this way, we can address, explore and subsequently treat difficulties in a safe and protected environment.
The bigger picture is what matters
When coaching family problem solving, I regularly meet a wide variety of people and characters. Each individual brings with them an individual story that seems insurmountable for them. In very rare cases, it is an isolated problem. The difficulties and conflicts are almost always embedded in a social context, for example the family. Accordingly, the resulting systemic advice must always consider and include the larger context.

My coaching is also characterized by the fact that I come from the business world and have many years of management experience. I know from my own experience what management responsibility means and I know the line between positive motivation and paralyzing pressure to succeed. I am also familiar with the various requirements, roles and perspectives in everyday working life and first learned most of the coaching techniques as a manager.
